The prefix is the symbol you type before a command. Both SIDAdmin and SidLink start with !, and each server can pick its own.
| Command | What it does | Who can use it |
|---|---|---|
!prefix |
Shows the current prefix | Everyone |
!prefix $ |
Changes the prefix to $ (same as !setprefix $) |
Manage Server |
!resetprefix |
Changes it back to ! (same as !prefix reset) |
Manage Server |
@SidLink / @SIDAdmin |
Replies with the current prefix | Everyone |
Each bot has its own prefix, so changing SidLink's doesn't change SIDAdmin's.
$, ?, s! or sid.` @ < \Mention the bot instead of typing the prefix, for example @SidLink help or @SIDAdmin prefix.
Example: after
!prefix ?, you'd type?helpand?view.
